Much to feel good about as Forestport makes long-overdue corrections
The Haters are attacking Forestport. We are experiencing their scorched-earth campaign, that includes constant attacks on social media and in newspapers.
On the surface it looks like the perpetrators are attacking me.

Approved the Minutes of October 21, 2014.
Approved the Warrants and Claims.
Approved the recommendations of the Committee on Special Education.

Many years ago, while having a casual dinner at a local restaurant alone, a stranger came up to the bar sat down and ordered his dinner as well.
He was reading the local newspaper and wanted to strike up a conversation.

Town of Webb honored for Environmental Project of the Year
The Town of Webb has been selected to receive the 2014 Environmental Project of the Year Award from the Central New York Branch of the American Public Works Association (APWA).
The award is in recognition of Webb’s recent East Side Pump Station and Force Main Upgrade Project.
Town Supervisor Ted Riehle was on hand to receive the award, on behalf of the Town of Webb, at the Branch’s Annual Banquet on November 13. Continue reading
Old Forge Ballet announces cast for upcoming Nutcracker
Sue Ann Lorenz-Wallace, Artistic Director and Linda Lorenz LaDue, Associate Artistic Director of the Old Forge Ballet Company have announced the cast for the Company’s annual “Nutcracker” ballet.

Old Forge Library’s Lego Club resuming
The After School Lego Club for children at the Old Forge Library will meet every other Tuesday: November 18, December 2, and December 16 from 2:15 to 4 p.m., and during holiday break on December 30 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Drop-bys are welcome; registration is not required. Participants should provide the library with a contact phone number and bring along their own snack if they would like to.
