The Inlet Barnstormers Snowmobile Club will hold a membership meeting on Tuesday, February 16 at 7 p.m. at the Inlet Information Center.
Election of officers will take place during the meeting. You must be a member to vote.
All are welcome to come and meet fellow snowmobilers and support the local club.
Dinner will be served following the meeting.
The Town of Webb Union Free School District’s Board of Education held a meeting on Tuesday, January 19, 2016.*
Public Comments included: Christine and Ryan Prichard approached the Board about their daughter, a 7th grader, attending NYSEF in Lake Placid for the winter term to train for alpine skiing at the Olympic Ski Center.
The TOW UFSD would provide the curriculum materials and a NYSEF tutor would provide the instruction.

The Town of Webb Board held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 10.
Supervisor Ted Riehle reported that a letter had been received from two South Shore Road property owners, who requested that the Town of Webb assist with a road hazard caused by parked vehicles across from the Red Dog Tavern.
They said the parked vehicles create an obstructed view for them when pulling onto the South Shore Road. Continue reading
A public meeting will be held in Old Forge at VIEW on Thursday, November 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. to gather input on a regional strategy for diversifying and enhancing outdoor recreation opportunities and improving community connectivity in the “Great South Woods”—a vast area encompassing more than two million acres in the southern Adirondack Park.
The project is being undertaken by the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) in conjunction with the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC). Continue reading
