Town of Webb senior Casey Hamlin, 18, moved to Old Forge from Canastota about ten years ago.
He said after the death of his father, Chuck, they decided to make a new start and move closer to his grandparents.
“We moved right across the street,” he said.

Town of Webb senior Holly Kalil, 18, transferred to Webb school from Inlet Common School in the seventh grade.
In the fall, she is planning on attending Utica College to study Physical Therapy.
“I am very interested in the subject,” she said.

Town of Webb senior Caroline DeFilipps, 18, has lived in Old Forge all her life, attending the Town of Webb school.
At the time of this interview she was deciding whether to enroll at Onondaga Community College or Utica College, with an eye toward General Education studies.

Town of Webb senior Chloe Brosemer, 17, has lived locally and attended Webb school since kindergarten.
In the fall, Chloe is looking to study Early Childhood Education at Wells College in Aurora, NY.
She is also going to minor in Business, she said.

Town of Webb senior Mark DeVoldre, 18, has lived in Old Forge all his life.
In the fall, he said he plans to enlist in the Navy.
“There are a lot of benefits that come along with it,” he said.
Mark said he was impressed with the Navy recruiters that he spoke with, as to the opportunity.
“I wasn’t really looking in that direction at first; they gave a presentation and it won me over,” he said. Continue reading
Madison Rice

Town of Webb school senior Madison Rice, 18, came to Inlet from the Baldwin-sville area when she was in third grade.
“We moved here for a change,” Madison said.
In the fall, she said she wants to start on an eventual masters degree in Civil Engineering with some business classes and a minor in Architecture.
The University of Tennessee or South Carolina State University are her two top choices, she said. Continue reading
Quentin Lucas

Town of Webb school senior Quentin Lucas, 17, moved to Old Forge three years ago from the Rochester area.
After graduation, he is looking forward to furthering his education at North Country Community College in Saranac Lake.
He plans to major in Criminal Justice and minor in Sociology, he said.
“Learning about the different cultures and people will help me become a great cop. The two degree programs go well together,” he said. Continue reading
