Sixty-four members and guests of North Woods Lodge #849 F&AM met aboard Raquette Lake Navigation Company’s WW Durant on Thursday, June 18 for dinner, a cruise around Raquette Lake, and a presentation of Years of Service awards and Dedicated Service awards.

Volunteer firefighters and emergency personnel were recognized for outstanding service at the Town of Webb Fire District’s annual awards dinner held Saturday, May 9 at VIEW, the arts center in Old Forge.

The Town of Webb has been selected to receive the 2014 Environmental Project of the Year Award from the Central New York Branch of the American Public Works Association (APWA).
