Webb Police Dept. reports law enforcement activity

The Town of Webb Police Department has reported the following law enforcement activity.

A 34-year-old Clay, NY man was charged with Confinement of Companion Animal in Vehicle in Extreme Temperatures following an incident that occurred on Monday, July 13 at 1:05 p.m.

An investigation into a report of two dogs unattended in a vehicle resulted in the defendant being charged for the above offense.  Continue reading

Town of Webb Police Report

A 53-year-old Old Forge man was charged with Speed in Zone, Driving While Intoxicated and Driving with .08 or more of alcohol following an incident that occurred on Friday, April 24 at 9:49 p.m.

According to the report, a traffic stop on NYS Route 28 in Old Forge resulted in the arrest of said subject for DWI. The man was released on traffic tickets for said charges which are all returnable to the Town of Webb Court at a later date.

Webb Police Department reports recent law enforcment activity

The Town of Webb Police Department has issued the following  report of recent law enforcement activity.

• A 22-year-old Holland Patent man was charged with speeding in a 55 mph zone, failure to yield right of way to an emergency vehicle (move over law), driving while intoxicated, and operating a vehicle with .08 or more of alcohol in blood following an incident that occurred on Thursday, March 19 at 9:14 p.m. Continue reading

Town of Webb Police Department reports law enforcement activity

The Town of Webb Police Department has issued the following public message and a report of recent law enforcement activity.

Police Chief Ron Johnston is alerting residents to a mail scam involving a bogus claim by the IRS that an enclosed check, made payable to the recipient, represents an overpayment of current taxes.  Continue reading
