Webb Police Dept. reports law enforcement activity

The Town of Webb Police Department has reported the following law enforcement activity.

A 34-year-old Clay, NY man was charged with Confinement of Companion Animal in Vehicle in Extreme Temperatures following an incident that occurred on Monday, July 13 at 1:05 p.m.

An investigation into a report of two dogs unattended in a vehicle resulted in the defendant being charged for the above offense. 

He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Webb Court at a later date.

A 52-year-old Inlet man was charged with Unlawful Possession/Use of Fireworks (violation) following an incident that occurred Monday, July 13.

The Town of Webb Police arrested the defendant on Wednesday, July 15 following an investigation that took place on July 13 when an officer was on patrol and observed the man explode a firework in the back yard of 235 Route 28 in the Town of Inlet.

According to the report, the man fled, then ran into a residence and refused to answer the door.

He was located on July 15 and issued an appearance ticket for Unlawful Use of Fireworks returnable to the Town of Inlet Court at a later date.
