Webb Police Dept. reports recent activity

The Town of Webb Police Department has issued the following  report of recent law enforcement activity.

• A 57-year-old Woodgate woman was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment 2nd degree following an incident that occurred on Friday, February 27 at 6:20 p.m.

According to the report, law enforcement received a complaint of an intoxicated female passed out in a snowbank in the Back Door parking lot. While investigating the welfare of the woman, she became combative with law enforcement resulting in her arrest. She was issued appearance tickets to reappear before the Town of Webb Court at a later date.

• A 62-year-old Thendara man was charged with snowmobiling while intoxicated (common law) and operating a snowmobile with .08 or more of alchohol following an incident that occurred on Saturday, February 28 at 7:34 p.m.

According to the report, law enforcement received a complaint of a possible intoxicated male operating a snowmobile on Rondaxe Road. Investigation resulted in the arrest of said individual for the above charges. He was issued tickets to reappear before the Town of Webb Court at a later date.

• A Remsen man was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign and aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd degree, a misdemeanor, following an incident that occurred on Tuesday, March 3 at 3:50 p.m.

According to the report, the vehicle passed through a stop sign at Park Ave./Joy Tract Rd./Railroad Ave. without stopping. DMV search revealed a revoked license with 16 suspensions. The man was arraigned and posted $300 bail to return to Town of Webb Court at a later date.
