• A 25-year-old Bridgeport, NY man was charged with Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, Unreasonable Speed, Crossing Hazard Markings, Inadequate Head-lights, No Front License Plate, and Failure to Keep Right on Thursday, February 25 at 10:30 a.m.

According to the report, Town of Webb Police Department concluded an investigation into a one-car property damage accident that occurred February 20, 2016 at 9:20 p.m. on State Route 28. Continue reading →

The Town of Webb Police Department has reported the following recent law enforcement activity.

A 36-year-old Binghamton woman was charged with 3rd Degree Assault on Monday, February 8 at 3:44 p.m.

According to the report, the defendant was arrested for the above charge after a report of a bar brawl at Daiker’s in which the defendant struck another person in the eye, causing injury.

She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Webb Court at a later date.

The Town of Webb Police concluded a week-long investigation regarding a log truck vs. snowmobile personal injury accident that occurred January 14, 2016 on the Big Moose Road, approximately two miles south of Stillwater Road.

The snowmobile operator, Kyle R. Hamann, 22, of 2190 Three Rod Road, East Aurora, NY was traveling southbound when he was surprised by a passing log truck and was unable to control his snowmobile. Continue reading →

The Town of Webb Police Department has reported the following recent law enforcement activity.

• A 28-year-old Raquette Lake man was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated with BAC above 0.08%, Open Container of Alcohol in Motor Vehicle, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana on Thursday, December 24 at 2:23 a.m.

According to the report, a traffic stop on NYS Route 28 in Old Forge resulted in the arrest of the defendant for the above charges. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Webb Court at a later date. Continue reading →

The Town of Webb Police Department has reported the following recent law enforcement activity.

• A 30-year-old Old Forge man was charged with Aggravated Harass-ment (Penal Law 240.30) on Monday, December 21 at 3:20 p.m.

According to the report, the Town of Webb Police Department arrested the man on one count of Aggravated Harassment following an investigation into threatening text messages that were sent to the victim.

The man was arraigned in the Town of Webb Court and released on cash bail.
