Letter to the Editor New shuttle bus result of dedication and hard work

To the Editor:

I was glad to see that the Town of Webb Board approved the funding for the shuttle buses at last week’s meeting.

Through no fault of Mike Farmer, Nick Rose or the Herkimer County Legislature—all of whom have been working very hard—the town’s share increased by $5,000.  Continue reading

Area events are made possible and successful through volunteer efforts

To the Editor:

Well, it looks as if another season is about to take the checkered flag. Not sure how everyone did this winter business-wise, but in terms of winter sports, it seemed that it was pretty good…which leads me to the reason for this article.

To the Editor:

I requested and received all the documents from the County Clerk’s office pertaining to Karen Howard’s lawsuit, after which I attended the Chamber of Commerce meeting on February 24, 2015.

The Town Board and Forest-port voters should be made aware the Chamber of Commerce accepted Karen Howard’s terms and settled the suit.  Continue reading
