Inlet Arts in the Park Fair slated for July 18 and 19

More than 65 artists and craftsmen will set up at Arrowhead Park in Inlet on Saturday and Sunday, July 18 and 19 for the 39th Annual Arts in the Park festival.

Among the items for sale will be pottery, quilts, handmade/ hand-embroidered apparel, wrought iron, floral designs, jewelry, wall hangings, sand art, metal products, wooden items, furniture, photography, bird houses, leather items, fishing lures, redwood signs, and lawn ornaments.     Continue reading

Inlet Historical Society hosts town walking tour on July 18

The Inlet Hisorical Society will host a Historical Walking Tour of Inlet on Saturday, July 18.

The tour will begin from the Inlet Common School on Route 28 at 10 a.m. and ends at the Inlet Historical Society building where refreshments will be served.

On Saturday, July 25, the organization will host a Cruise-In Car Show at Arrowhead Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

15-piece Big Band to perform at the Old Forge Lakefront

The Summer Concert Series held on the Old Forge Lakefront on Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. will feature Easy Money on July 19.

Easy Money is a 15-piece ensemble that plays the big band music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Buddy Rich, Frank Sinatra, and many more. Continue reading
