Volunteers at the Mission Boutique at Niccolls Church in Old Forge are encouraging holiday gift-givers to think outside the Christmas box for their last minute shopping needs.

The shelves and racks of the Boutique are filled with great gift ideas…just tap into your inner Pinterest and use your imagination.

Put together an eclectic collection of cocktail glasses or candlesticks. Plates, platters, dishes and cups can be filled with cookies, cakes and candies. Tied off with a bow, they make great hostess gifts. Continue reading

Niccolls Church to reopen Mission Boutique on May 1

The Mission Boutique, the thrift shop in the basement of Niccolls Memorial Church, is currently closed until Friday, May 1 for cleaning and tidying up before the busy season resumes.

Mary Brophy-Moore, a Mission Boutique Leadership Team member, said the shop is typically closed for a couple weeks in the spring for removal of winter clothing and items that have been in the shop for a while.  Continue reading
