CAA announces Polkafest cancellation

The Central Adirondack Association would like to inform the public that the Adirondack Polkafest, which usually takes place over Memorial Day weekend, will not be held this year.

Due to the lack of a promoter/organizer with ties to the Polka community to run the event, the CAA has decided not to hold the event.

The CAA is hoping to hold an event over Memorial weekend in 2015.

Anyone who may have any ideas for new events or who is interested in volunteering with a new or existing event is welcome to contact Laurie Barkauskas at (315) 369-6983 or laurieb@caany.com. A list of all Central Adirondack Association events can be found at VisitMyAdirondacks.com.
