Eagle Bay Fire Department hosting annual sale, May 24

The Eagle Bay Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will hold its annual White Elephant and Bake Sale at the Eagle Bay Fire Department on Route 28 on Saturday, May 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Webb student artists excel at 31st Annual Tri-County Art Show

Studio Art students working together on a collaborative pen and ink design. Some of their works will be displayed in the 3rd Annual Student Show at View, which opens June 8th.

It is with excitement that I inform you of the awards Town of Webb Union Free School District art students have recently received at the 31st Annual Tri-County Art Show at the Dulles State Office Building in Watertown, NY.

The Opening Reception for this show was held on Monday May 12th and the show will conclude on May 22nd.

Throughout the year students have been creating incredible work in preparation of this show.  Continue reading

Stephanie Randall announces write-in candidacy for remainder term

My name is Stephanie (Graham) Randall and I would like to be considered to fill the remainder of a vacant seat on the Town of Webb School Board for the term May 20, 2014 – June 30, 2018. Stephanie Randall_REVISED PIC

I am a lifelong seasonal resident, with strong family ties in Old Forge and have been a full time resident for the past four years. I have spent summers in Old Forge from birth, where I made many friends.

As soon as I was old enough to work, I had employment in several local businesses, including Howard Johnson’s, The Enchanted Forest, The Big Moose Inn, and many years at The Old Mill Restaurant. I also have worked as a lifeguard at the TOW Beach and I have acted for several dinner theater plays for the Adirondack Mountain Theater Company.  Continue reading
