Town of Webb Board of Education considers adding Inlet school district’s K–6 students to tuition arrangement

The Town of Webb UFSD Board of Education held a meeting on Tuesday, January 6, where it took the following actions, which are summarized here and do not represent official minutes.

Approved the Minutes of December 16, 2014 Board of Education meeting.

Approved the Warrants and Claims.

Kiwanis member honored for contribution to Kamp Kiwanis

At its annual Christmas Party, Central Adirondack Kiwanis recognized member Bob Teesdale for his contributions to Kamp Kiwanis, a summer camp located six miles north of Rome, NY that provides adventure and a creative outdoor experience to its campers. Continue reading

Kiwanis: John Gaffney named as January Student of Month

The Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks has announced that its Student of the Month for January is John Gaffney. John is the son of Michael and Loretta Gaffney of Old Forge and is a senior at Town of Webb Union Free School.IMG_0651****

The Student of the Month is a program initiated by the Kiwanis Club, in cooperation with the Town of Webb School, that recognizes senior students.  Continue reading

Inlet Barnstormers to meet January 20

The Inlet Barnstormers Snowmobile Club will hold its monthly Membership Meeting at the Inlet Information Center on Tuesday, January 20 at 7 p.m.

All are welcome to attend and discover the many activities scheduled for the winter.

Refreshments will be served following the meeting. Volunteers are welcome.
