Former Supervisor speaks out about budget spending

To the Editor:

Enough is enough! I have stayed out of the town business since the new supervisor took over, but now he is up to his old ways of doing business and knocking my administration to the point where I can no longer sit back, and now I must speak out and give the taxpayer the facts.

Recently, Mr. Snead has come public with his desires to cut salaries and benefits to our hardworking and dedicated town employees. Continue reading

Webb School Key Club officers announced

Town of Webb School Key Club officers for 2014 to 2015 were introduced at a meeting of the Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks held at VIEW on Sunday, October 5th.

After a wonderful “Broadway Meets Opera at View” concert last August, I would very much like to thank the many loyal followers and first timers who have made the “Fourth Annual” such a resounding success.

Recently, we had the great pleasure of accompanying our parents, including our mother, Mary Jane Hutto (née Hall,) to the Woods Inn for a family vacation.

Our mother grew up on Fourth Lake and her grandfather, Philo Clark Wood, was the original owner/operator of “The Wood Hotel.”  Continue reading
