Tyler McGough recognized as Kiwanis Student of Month

IMG_3408The Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks has announced that its Student of the Month for March is Tyler McGough. Tyler is the son of William and Rebecca McGough of Woodgate and is a senior at Town of Webb Union Free School.

The Student of the Month is a program initiated by the Kiwanis Club, in cooperation with the Town of Webb School, that recognizes senior students.  Continue reading

Webb School Key Club officers announced

Town of Webb School Key Club officers for 2014 to 2015 were introduced at a meeting of the Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks held at VIEW on Sunday, October 5th.

They are President Mara Gaffney, Vice President Briana Brownsell, Secretary Melissa Murphy and Treasurer Olivia Phaneuf.

“We have had a very successful year. Our students participate in many school activities, besides academics. They make time to help others and they have grown in many ways, such as taking responsibilities seriously and caring for their community,” said Key Club Advisor Diane Amos. Continue reading

Kiwanis Key Club says goodbye to Webb grads, elects officers, presents awards

The Town of Webb School Kiwanis Key Club held its election of officers for 2014 to 2015 at a recent meeting. Mara Gaffney was elected president, Briana Brownsell – vice president, Melissa Murphy – secretary, and Olivia Phaneuf, treasurer.
