Each year the Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks collects and distributes gifts and toys to special families in the Woodgate, White Lake, Otter Lake, Thendara, Old Forge, Eagle Bay, Inlet and Raquette Lake areas.

The Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks has announced that its Student of the Month for November is Briana Brownsell. Briana is the daughter of Tim and Jill Brownsell of Inlet and is a senior at Town of Webb Union Free School.

Adirondack Kids Day, an Inlet event that celebrates the outdoor activities described in the Adirondack Kids series of books by authors Gary and Justin VanRiper, was enjoyed by children of all ages on Saturday, October 4th.

Central Adirondack Kiwanis Club invites prospective members to a Pizza and Wings Dinner at Old Forge American Legion Post 893 on Thursday, September 18 at 6 p.m.
During the dinner, current Kiwanis members will conduct a regular meeting and brief prospective members on the many child-oriented programs sponsored by the club.
