Town of Webb Police Dept. reports recent activity

The Town of Webb Police Department has reported the following recent law enforcement activity.

• A 32-year-old Utica, NY man was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd degree, Speed in Zone, and Unlicensed Operator following an incident that occurred on Wednesday, December 9 at 6:38 p.m.

According to the report, a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding resulted in the arrest of the defendant for the above charges.

The investigation revealed that the defendant’s license was expired and revoked.

He was arraigned at the Town of Webb Court and remanded to the Herkimer County Jail in lieu of $750 bail. Continue reading

Webb School Drama Department announces cast of The Pajama Game

The Town of Webb School Drama Department has announced the cast for its upcoming musical production of The Pajama Game.

The cast includes Tyler Fenton as Sid Sorokin, Olivia Phaneuf as Babe Williams,  Carter Kelly as Prez, Shawn Hansen as Hasler, Ryan Johnston as Hines, Ally Cooper as Mabel, Rachel Smith as Gladys, Caroline DeFilipps as Mae.

Josh Huber as Pop, Josh Kelly as Joe, Nick Olsen as Max, Fern Bailey as Brenda, Caitlin Russell as Poopsie, David Ehrensbeck as Charlie, Lexie Beal as Virginia.  Continue reading

FROM: ‘FORESTPORT MAN’

We hear the old snow plows, they shake this old cat house,

Snowmobiles are whining,

The furnace is humming, we get as comfortable as we can,

Another day comes to an end for the Forestport man.

We all hear the phone ring and after talking for a while,

A conversation with a good friend has caused me to smile,

We talk about getting together as soon as we can’
