The Town of Webb Police Department has reported the following recent law enforcement activity.
• A 32-year-old Utica, NY man was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd degree, Speed in Zone, and Unlicensed Operator following an incident that occurred on Wednesday, December 9 at 6:38 p.m.
According to the report, a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding resulted in the arrest of the defendant for the above charges.
The investigation revealed that the defendant’s license was expired and revoked.
He was arraigned at the Town of Webb Court and remanded to the Herkimer County Jail in lieu of $750 bail.
• A 38-year-old Rome, NY woman was charged with Driving While Intoxicated following an incident that occurred on Friday, December 11 at 11:05 p.m.
The woman was arrested for DWI subsequent to a traffic stop. She was processed and released to a sober party and issued an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Webb Court at a later date.
