Allen B. Doggett IV formerly of Rochester, Utica, and Old Forge, died in Port Orange, FL on March 12, 2015. He was born on May 18, 1943 in Rochester, NY the son of Allen B. Doggett lll and Ailene Doggett Norderhouse.  Continue reading

Webb reports recent law enforcement activity

The Town of Webb Police Department reported the following recent law enforcement activity.

• A 19-year-old Old Forge man was charged with Violation of Probation on Thursday, September 3 at 6:09 p.m.

According to the report, the defendant violated conditions of his sentence and a warrant was subsequently issued by the Town of Webb Court.

The defendant turned himself in at the Webb Police Station and was arraigned in the Town of Webb Court where he was released on his own recognizance to return at a later date.

CAA Raffle: Winners of car and cash prizes drawn at Old Forge lakefront

The Central Adirondack Association would like to thank everyone who came to the Old Forge lakefront and celebrated the end of another wonderful summer season on Sunday, September 6th.

Services held for Adam C. Winslow, 19

Adam Charles Winslow, 19, passed away on September 3, 2015. He was born on November 20, 1995 in the Lewis County General Hospital at Lowville, NY, the youngest of three boys to William and Laurie (Worden) Winslow, Old Forge, NY.

Adam was a 2014 graduate of the Town of Webb UFSD where he lettered on the golf, soccer, cross country and alpine ski teams.  Continue reading
