The Town of Webb Police Department reported the following recent law enforcement activity.
• A 19-year-old Old Forge man was charged with Violation of Probation on Thursday, September 3 at 6:09 p.m.
According to the report, the defendant violated conditions of his sentence and a warrant was subsequently issued by the Town of Webb Court.
The defendant turned himself in at the Webb Police Station and was arraigned in the Town of Webb Court where he was released on his own recognizance to return at a later date.

The Town of Forestport broke ground on the new Dutch Hill Ball Field Playground located at 11809 Dutch Hill Road in Forestport on August 28, 2015. The project was funded by grants.

The Twitchell Inn was abuzz with activity on Sunday, August 30 as close to 200 family and friends of Ida Winter stopped by to honor her in celebration of her 90th birthday.
Born August 11, 1925 to Gertrude Estelle Oakley and Danforth R. Ainsworth, Ida is a lifelong resident of the Big Moose area.
She grew up in Big Moose Station where her parents operated Ainsworth Camp. She attended a one-room school house in Big Moose prior to attending and graduating from Town of Webb High School. Continue reading

Adam Charles Winslow, 19, passed away on September 3, 2015. He was born on November 20, 1995 in the Lewis County General Hospital at Lowville, NY, the youngest of three boys to William and Laurie (Worden) Winslow, Old Forge, NY.
Adam was a 2014 graduate of the Town of Webb UFSD where he lettered on the golf, soccer, cross country and alpine ski teams. Continue reading
