Allen B. Doggett IV formerly of Rochester, Utica, and Old Forge, died in Port Orange, FL on March 12, 2015. He was born on May 18, 1943 in Rochester, NY the son of Allen B. Doggett lll and Ailene Doggett Norderhouse.
He is survived by wife Frances of Connecticut, three children; Mary Elizabeth Doggett Lynch and her husband Michael of Utica, Allen (Michael) B. Doggett V of Utica, and Kelli Doggett Brown and her husband Jason of Marcy; a sister Virginia Doggett Stabile and her husband John of Nashua, NH; two brothers Ned Doggett and his wife Julie of Old Forge, and David Doggett of Albion.
Allen is survived by nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and step children. Allen was predeceased by sister-in- law Christine Doggett, and nephew Jeremy Stabile.
Allen served in the Army, and was a member of the VFW. He worked as a tradesman throughout the Utica, Old Forge and Florida areas.
Interment will take place in Riverview Cemetery in Old Forge on Saturday, September 12 at 10 a.m. Allen will be remembered during mass at St. Bartholomew’s Church in Old Forge.
