An All-Girls Cocktail Party, the second annual gathering to honor the memory of the late Kirsty Sutherland, will be held at the Eagle Bay Park camp of Deb and John Barry on Sunday, August 24 from 6 p.m.
The party, at 127 Eagle Point Rd., will include cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages and a variety of Kirsty’s signature appetizers.
There will also be raffles for gift baskets and a handmade quilt.
Parking will be available from the Eckerson’s parking lot, across from Dan’s Big M, and shuttle service to the Barry’s will be available from 6 to 8 p.m.
A maximum 100 tickets will be sold at $20 each.
All proceeds will be divided in support of Eagle Bay beautification projects and the Kirsty Sutherland Culinary Scholarship which is awarded to a Town of Webb School student interested in pursuing the culinary arts following graduation.
Funds from last year’s event supported the scholarship, awarded to Sara Dempsey, landscaping enhancements at the Eagle Bay Welcome Center, and Eagle Bay welcome banners that are currently displayed along Route 28.
Laura Lester, co-organizer of the event, said she and her family will continue to work with the community on future projects and ideas are welcomed.
