Register now for Old Forge TIPS Course

The Town of Webb PBA and MAC’s Safe Ride would like to remind the public that the TIPS course will be available to area establishments free of charge on Wednesday May 13, at 11 a.m. at the Old Forge Fire Department.

Anyone wishing to attend must contact Officer Silverman by April 29 at (315) 369-3157 or 369-6515.

Space is limited. In order to attend and receive credit for the training reservations must be made in advance.

Eileen Tobin returns for visit to Old Forge

Old Forge resident Eileen Tobin returned for a visit this past weekend and joined friends for coffee and donuts following Mass at St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church on Sunday, February 22.

Tobin has been residing the past few months in Stone Ridge, NY with her niece Susanne Warren, while she receives medical treatment. Continue reading

Old Forge Winter Carnival returning February 13–15

Old Forge’s annual Winter Carnival weekend will be held Friday through Sunday, February 13 through 15 with events held in the village and at McCauley Mountain.

Ad’k Christmas on Main Street returning Nov. 28, 29 & 30

Inlet gearing for holiday visitors

The Town of Inlet invites all to enjoy the festivities planned for its Adirondack Christmas on Main Street celebration on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 28, 29, and 30.

Stop by the Inlet Information Office when you get to town for a list of shops that will be open. While you are there, you can drop off your letters to Santa.

At the end of day bring your receipts from purchases made at Inlet businesses and receive a raffle ticket for every $10 spent to qualify to win a Holiday Basket.  Continue reading

Halloween: Lots of activities planned throughout the area

Plenty of Halloween festivities are planned throughout the area in celebration of the upcoming October 31 holiday.

• The Inlet Youth Commission will also host its annual Halloween Parade and Party on Friday, October 24.

Parade line-up begins at 6:30 p.m. at the parking lot between St. Anthony’s Church and the Church of the Lakes on Main Street.

Following the parade through town, all are invited to the Inlet Emergency Services Building for costume judging and refreshments. Continue reading
