The Central Adirondack Association (CAA) would like to thank everyone who came out to support Old Forge’s Winter Carnival the weekend of February 5, 6 and 7th.

Raquette Lake Winter Carnival: Frozen fun planned Feb. 12–14

The Raquette Lake Winter Carnival will begin Friday, February 12 at 5 p.m. at the Raquette Lake Fire Hall with a Spagehetti Dinner.

The meal is $10; take out is available. Proceeds will benefit the Raquette Lake Ladies Auxiliary.

On Saturday, February 13, participate in a fun day of winter events in and around the Raquette Lake village.  Continue reading

Raquette Lake: Winter Carnival slated for February 13, 14, 15

The Raquette Lake Winter Carnival will begin Friday, February 13 at 5 p.m. at the Raquette Lake Fire Hall with an all-you-can-eat Pasta Dinner.

The meal is $10 and includes assorted pastas, salad, garlic bread and dessert.

Take out is available. Proceeds will benefit the Raquette Lake Ladies Softball Team.   Continue reading

Old Forge’s annual Winter Carnival weekend will be held Friday through Sunday, February 13 through 15 with events held in the village and at McCauley Mountain.

Snow Sculpture Contest added to Old Forge’s 2015 Winter Carnival

Businesses and individuals in the Towns of Webb and Inlet are invited to enter the inaugural Snow Sculpture Competition that will be held during the Old Forge Winter Carnival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday Febuary 13, 14 and 15. Continue reading

Long Lake Winter Carnival slated Saturday, Jan. 17th

The Moonlighter’s Snowmobile Club and the Town of Long Lake will host a Winter Carnival on Mt. Sabattis on Saturday, January 17.

The event will feature a snowmobile parade followed by the crowning of the King and Queen and a town-wide Photograph.  Continue reading
