Tim Durkin
A celebration of the life of Tim Durkin, who passed away on June 5, 2014, will be held at Mulligans at the Inlet Golf Club on Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 6 until 9 p.m. A second celebration will be held at the Shadow Lake Golf Club in Rochester on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Norman T. Burak, 76, of Halfmoon, NY died on Saturday June 28, 2014 at the Eddy Village Green in Cohoes after a long illness. He was born in Utica, NY on August 10, 1937 and was the son of the late Walter and Caroline Karwacz Burak. 
Norman graduated from Utica Free Academy, Morrisville College with his associates degree in automotive technology and Clarkson University, where he received his bachelors in mechanical engineering. He then received his masters degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Continue reading
Douglas J. Wesseldine, 75, of White Lake, passed away peacefully at his beloved home on July 5, 2014, after spending a wonderful holiday surrounded by his family.
He was born on October 17, 1938, a son of Sherman and Eloise Johnson Wesseldine.
He was raised in Chittenango, where he attended school, graduating with the Class of 1956 from Chittenango High School. Continue reading
On Wednesday, June 18 Garry James Hazen lost his two-and-a-half year battle with Leukemia when the disease, which was previously in remission, aggressively returned.
At the age of 73, Garry is survived by his wife Ida of 52 years, son Garry and Linda Hazen and their three children, Lauren, Meaghan, and Brian, son Russell, daughter Sheri and Lorna, sister Barbara and Richard Eldridge, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who shared his laughter and enjoyment of life. John Paul Dunay passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica at the age of 56.
John was born October 13, 1957, in Rome, NY, to the late Joseph and Ruth Long Dunay. After graduating from the Town of Webb High School, he eventually chose to settle in the Adirondacks, which he loved. Continue reading
Tim R. Durkin, 59, of Inlet and formerly of Rochester, died June 5, 2014 at his residence following a brief illness, with his wife at his side.
He was born August 7, 1954, in Rochester, a son of Glen C. and Joan (LaForce) Durkin. Tim graduated in 1972 from East Ridge High School in Irondequoit, and in 1977 from Rochester Institute of Technology. He was united in marriage with the former Gaylynn “Lynn” Farr on June 8, 1996 in Rochester. Continue reading
Richard C. Josephson, 86, of Falconer, NY died June 6, 2014 in his home. He was born August 11, 1927 in Port Allegany, PA, the son of Alvan Josephson and Helen Hesch Josephson Porter.
He was a graduate of Falconer High School in 1945 and Alfred University in 1951. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1946 and the U.S. Army, Army Security Agency from 1951 to 1954. Continue reading
