Members of the Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks and Knights of Columbus raised over $1,300 in funds for the Salvation Army over the Old Forge Adirondack Christmas on Main Street weekend, November 27, 28 and 29th.

Bell-ringer volunteers spent over 60 hours collecting funds over the weekend in front of Walt’s Diner and Souvenir Village.

The funds raised will be used in the Central Adirondack area during the entire year to assist Central Adirondack families in need,” said Bill Ransom, coordinator of the project.

The Deacons of Niccolls Memorial Church in Old Forge will continue the effort  on Saturday, December 12th.
