The 4th Annual Old Forge Triathlon drew 149 individual triathletes and 13 relay teams of runners, bikers and swimmers to the area on Sunday, August 16.
Athletes were to complete a four-mile run, an 18.5-mile bike course, and a 1,000 meter swim, however the swimming event was cancelled due to heavy fog.
Among the local participants were The Underdogs, a relay team that included biker Terry Murray, runner Kathy Rivet, and shut-out swimmer Erica Murray.
The team placed ninth with a time of 1:50. Also competing was triathlete Amy Sauer of Eagle Bay who completed the race in 1:56:45.
