Politics can be a deceptive, despicable and dishonest game
Where a wannabe politician can attack without shame
You can work against the Town with baseless attacks
You can write letters to the editor devoid of the facts
You can criticize everything the administration has done
Without having positive suggestions to advance on your own
State that the Town Supervisor is throwing away the taxpayers’ funds
By paying an outrageous $32.50 per hour for mowing the lawns
You don’t mention that includes the truck, the trailer and the weed wacker
The push mower, the riding mower and all of the gas
You don’t mention the insurance cost that the contractors pay
Or the fact they’ve earned money by the end of the day
