Area voters took to the polls on Tuesday, April 19 to weigh-in on their candidate of choice in the New York state Democrat and Republican presidential primaries.
Herkimer County Board of Elections has reported county-wide wins for Democrat candidate Bernie Sanders and Republican Donald Trump.
In Congressional District 21, which includes the Town of Webb, Sanders received 245 votes (61.10%) to Hillary Clinton’s 156 (38.90%). Continue reading

I am writing to congratulate The Weekly Adirondack paper for following in the tradition and role that the press once played in the defense of this nation. Over time people have forgotten the principals this nation was founded on.
It was founded in a time of duress. The country was being ruled by a tyrant in a cruel and inhumane manner. The citizens were alerted, organized and made aware of abuses and injustices, by numbers of their fellow citizens. Continue reading
