Blake Greene, a member of the Polar Bear Alpine U14 team, competed at the U14 State Championships held at Gore Mountain on Thursday and Friday, March 5 and 6, and Sunday, March 8.
At Thursday’s Giant Slalom race, he had a great first run, but did not start the second run. He took third place in Friday’s Super G race; and on Sunday’s Slalom race he had another great first run but was disqualified on the second run.

Polar Bear U-18 alpine skier Carter Lawrence competed at the Empire State Games in Lake Placid on Saturday and Sunday, February 7 and 8.
Lawrence placed fifth in Saturday’s giant slalom race which was reduced to a single run due to an afternoon power outage. He placed second in the slalom race on Sunday. Continue reading
