Pedals & Petals of Inlet has been named one of America’s Best Bike Shops for 2015 by the National Bicycle Dealers Association (NBDA), according to an announcement made by the organization on Wednesday.

The 9th Annual Trek Women Breast Cancer Awareness Ride, open to men and women of all ages and abilities, will start at Pedals & Petals on Main Street at 10 a.m. and go down South Shore Road towards Old Forge. Participants can choose between an 11.6-mile or a 20.8-mile loop. Continue reading
Pedals & Petals of Inlet was recently named one of America’s Best Bike Shops for 2014 by the National Bicycle Dealers Association.
Of the approximately 4,000 bike shops in the United States, less than 300 were chosen to be named “America’s Best.”
To qualify for the honor, bike shop owners were asked to fill out a detailed application describing what sets them apart from the average store. Continue reading
The 8th Annual Trek Women Breast Cancer Awareness Bicycle Ride on Saturday, October 12 in 
Inlet, helped to raise $3,000 for The Breast Cancer Research Fund. The event was co-sponsored by Pedals & Petals of Inlet.
Organizer Ted Christodaro said 80 bikers, ranging in ages from seven to 81, helped to raise close to triple the amount raised at last year’s ride.
“The weather was phenomenal and everyone who participated had a great time. We are proud to be able to take part in this national breast cancer awareness ride,” Christodaro said.

The 8th Annual Trek Women Breast Cancer Awareness Ride, a casual family-friendly bike ride open to men and women of all ages and abilities, will start from Pedals & Petals on Main Street Inlet on Saturday, October 12th.
The event begins at 10 a.m. and participants will race down South Shore Road towards Old Forge. Participants can choose between an 11.6-mile or a 20.8-mile ride.
Registration is currently open and interested bikers can sign up at Pedals & Petals, or on-line at pedalsandpetals.com. The fee is $30. On-line registration closes on Friday, October 11 at noon.
Registration forms will also be available from 8 to 9:45 a.m. on the day of the event. One hundred percent of the registration fees will go directly to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Ted Christodaro, owner of Pedals & Petals of Inlet, and mountain biker Chuck Schweitzer invite all mountain bike enthusiasts to a group ride to Moss, Sis and Bubb Lakes on Saturday, October 19th.
Anyone interested in participating should meet at the Moss Lake trailhead on the Big Moose Road at 9:30 a.m. The ride begins at 10 a.m. Rain date is Sunday, October 20th.
Later that same day, they invite all interested bikers to a Meet and Greet session and meeting to discuss the formation of a local mountain bike club. Continue reading
