Six times during the past 25 years the Fulton Chain of Lakes Association (FCLA) has conducted a survey of the number of various kinds of boats there are on the Fulton Chain of Lakes from Old Forge Pond to Fifth Lake.

The shoreline is divided up and board members volunteer to go along the shore in a boat, early in the morning before there are many boats on the lakes and count each category of boat.  Continue reading →
