The Old Forge Hardware, at the busy corner in Old Forge, will be holding a Meet the Author book signing on Sunday, May 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The featured book, The Legend of the Painted Turtle, is a children’s book written and illustrated, respectively, by brothers Jeffrey Blake Maher and Joshua Maher.

The book was inspired by their work at one of Paul Newman’s Serious Fun Camps for children battling serious medical conditions, The Painted Turtle, located in California. Continue reading →
