The Vintage Snowmobile Race on Fourth Lake in Inlet originally scheduled for Saturday, March 14 has been postponed until Saturday, March 21.
Hot lap action begins at 10 a.m. near The Woods Inn and the Inlet Boat Launch. Youth races will be held during one of the intermissions.
Admission to the race is free. A snack shack will be on site offering hot dogs and beverages to benefit the Inlet Area Business Association. More information about the race can be found at: vintageicesr.com.

I requested and received all the documents from the County Clerk’s office pertaining to Karen Howard’s lawsuit, after which I attended the Chamber of Commerce meeting on February 24, 2015.
The Town Board and Forest-port voters should be made aware the Chamber of Commerce accepted Karen Howard’s terms and settled the suit. Continue reading

Seistan’s Rough & Ready (aka Roughie), an Afghan Hound owned by Bill and Lynn Faro of Inlet, has achieved Grand Champion status after winning nine Best of Breed competitions since the beginning of 2015.

The Town of Webb Police Department has issued the following report of recent law enforcement activity.
• A 33-year-old Port Monmouth, NJ woman was charged with 3rd degree assault and 2nd degree harassment following an incident that occurred at a local establishment on Friday, March 6 at 9 p.m.
According to the report, Webb Police concluded an investigation involving a domestic dispute at Slickers Tavern which resulted in the arrest of the woman for the above charges. Continue reading
