Albany: Senator Hugh Farley appointed to leadership post in NY State Senate

Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I – Schenectady) was promoted to the Senate Leadership position of Vice President Pro Tempore of the Senate on Wednesday, March 4.

This is the third highest position in the Senate Leadership.

“I am thrilled and humbled by this appointment. I have been honored to serve in the State Senate and am pleased that my Senate colleagues have expressed their confidence in me. I will continue to work with my fellow Senators to advance policies to improve our State, promote economic development and provide needed tax relief,” Senator Farley said. Continue reading

Inlet Area Business Assoc. discusses upcoming events and a new challenge activity to be introduced in 2015

The Inlet Area Business Association (IABA) held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 3 at Screamen Eagle with 17 members in attendance.

IABA will start a fundraising campaign to assist the Town of Inlet with costs associated with maintaining the InletNY.com website.
