Town of Webb instrumental students participate in Bi-County Music Fest

Four Town of Webb seventh and eighth grade band students traveled to Indian River High School on Tuesday, October 28 and Saturday, November 1 for concert band rehearsals prior to their participation in the Jefferson-Lewis Music Teachers’ Association’s Fall Bi-County Music Festival.

Participating in the festival were Natalie Brownsell, Blake Greene, Emily Rudolph, and Karen Thornton—all students of Emily Herrmann, TOW School instrumental teacher.

These students joined the top seventh and eighth grade musicians from surrounding counties for the two days of rehearsals that culminated with a public performance on November 1.

Long Lake sets Winery bus trip

The Town of Long Lake is sponsoring a winery tour bus trip to the Thousand Islands on Saturday, November 22nd.

The Little Bus will depart from the Geiger Arena at 8 a.m. to meet the Brown Bus in Blue Mountain Lake. From there it will make a stop in Raquette Lake and venture on to the Thousand Islands.  Continue reading
