Holiday Return: Candy Land opens at Thendara Town Hall, Friday, Nov. 23

Thendara Town Hall, home of a festive holiday “Candy Land.”

The Historic Thendara Town Hall has been transformed into a giant indoor Candy Land for the holiday season.

Owners Stuart DeCamp and Jimi Ortiz will open the doors to Candy Land on Friday, November 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Candy Land will also be open on Saturday and Sunday, November 24 and 25 as well as on Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2.

As part of a partnership with the Adirondack Scenic Railroad, any children and their parents who ride the Christmas train, and present their boarding pass at Candy Land will receive a complimentary cupcake and hot chocolate.

Candy Land also offers coloring, face painting, and mini games that include pool, foosball, air hockey, and tic-tac-toe.

Hot chocolate, tea, coffee, and snacks will also be available. Candy Land is located at 120 Forge Street, across from the Thendara Train Station.
