The Town of Webb is seeking individuals interested in becoming active members of the Town’s Planning Board or Zoning Board of Appeals.
The Planning Board is charged with the review and consideration of approval, for various site plans, subdivisions of land, commercial, business or private projects that involve both residential and commercial properties.
The Zoning Board of Appeals will review and consider various applications made for an Area Variance or a Use Variance requesting to do something that is otherwise prohibited by the zoning ordinance.They also will provide interpretations regarding the zoning ordinance when necessary.
The Planning Board meets twice a month and the Zoning Board of Appeals meets once a month, unless especially convened. Members are offered compensation as determined by the Town Board.
To qualify, you must be a resident of the Town of Webb and have the ability to participate in the meetings.
Site visits to all properties are encouraged to better understand each application.
