Postal customers of the Woodgate Post Office are reminded of a community meeting with representatives of the U.S. Postal Service that will take place in the lobby of the post office on Wednesday, October 10 at 5:30 p.m
At that time, the Postal Service is expected to announce the results of the recently completed survey concerning reduced window hours at the post office.
“It has been a long two-year effort to keep the post office in Woodgate open. I’m hoping that a good turnout will reinforce the issue to postal service officials,” said John Isley of the Woodgate Citizens Committee.
