St. Williams on Long Point in Raquette Lake will host its annual Chicken BBQ and Silent Auction on Sunday, July 26.
Free boat transportation to this historic site is available from the town dock beginning at 12:30 p.m. and continues throughout the event.
The silent auction will be held in the restored church and offers a wide variety of items and gift certificates donated by local businesses and residents.
The BBQ begins at 1 p.m. and will be served until 3 p.m. or until it’s sold out. The cost is $12 and take out is available. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted for both the BBQ and auction. All are invited to attend.
Proceeds of the event will support the restoration of the St. William’s property.
