Cameron Lenci
The Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks has announced that its Student of the Month for April is Cameron Lenci of Old Forge. Cameron is the son of Dawn Lenci of Old Forge and Scott Lenci of Hamden, NY and is a senior at Town of Webb Union Free School.
The Student of the Month is a program initiated by the Kiwanis Club, in cooperation with the Town of Webb School, that recognizes senior students.
Each month from September to April the school administrators select a Student of the Month who will receive $50 and with his/her parents are invited to a Kiwanis Recognition Event to make a brief presentation.
In May, the Kiwanis Scholarship Committee will select a Student of the Year who will receive $500.
The Town of Webb Police Benevolent Association (PBA) will partner with Central Adirondack Kiwanis in the Student of the Year award.
The selection criteria for the program includes community service, academics, athletic involvement, student need, and extra curricular activities
