Thank You for a great ‘Big Nine-Oh’

Dear Editor:

On behalf of the other 90-year birthday folk, while wishing we could have celebrated the BIG 90 together… after all, it is a numeral to be respected for, at the least, our endurance…

I was a lucky one to have a company staff to provide the place and the extra refreshments that were on hand for the world, which seemingly took part…I am sure the families of my fellow nonagenarians provided the same attention weighted heavily with LOVE and APPRECIATION of your own special GIFTS and your own community contributions.

Our spirits were intwined, here, as well.

Can’t begin to thank each person for time taken from busy schedules to attend, not to mention for bringing gifts of warmth, including kind words, cards, flowers, baked goods, donations to the Arts Center, visits and encouragement…

Individual thanks are physically impossible, as are any notes from my new ‘birthday computer’ (which might take another 90 years for me to understand).

It was a remarkable day for me. I remembered every single connection between us, as we greeted, and am thankful for memory… and your kindness and help over nine decades.

Love to our special mountain town and its loving people.

God Bless us Every One…(Tiny Tim)…

Mirnie Kashiwa
