Webb Police Dept. issues enforcement report

The Town of Webb Police Department has issued the following report of recent law enforcement activity.

A Cranbury, NJ man was charged with a number of snowmobile infractions following an incident that occurred on Friday, February 6 at approximately 11 p.m. 

According to the report, the man was operating his snowmobile on the left side of South Shore Rd, heading north into on-coming traffic.

A traffic stop was initiated and the operator was found to be intoxicated. A breath test confirmed a blood alcohol (BAC) level of 0.24%.

He was charged with failure to keep right and snowmobiling while intoxicated for having a BAC level of 0.08% or higher.

He was released with appearance tickets to return to Town of Webb Court on February 10.

A 33-year-old Ronkon-koma, NY man was charged with a number of snowmobile infractions following an incident that occurred on Saturday, February 7 at 11:37 p.m.

According to the report, the man was operating a snowmobile north on NYS Route 28.

A traffic stop initiated and the man recklessly continued riding his snowmobile to the Blue Spruce Motel parking lot and attempted to enter the motel.

He refused chemical tests. He was charged with snowmobiling while intoxicated, operating on a highway, imprudent speed, reckless operation and failure to comply.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Herkimer County Correctional Facility by Town of Webb Justice John Graham in lieu of $750 bail/$1,500 bond.
