A NYS-certified navigator from ACR Health of Syracuse will be available at the Old Forge Library, by appointment, to assist people with enrollment in the NYS Insurance Marketplace (NY State of Health) during the Special Enrollment Period (SEP) that runs through November 14, 2014.
In order to enroll during the SEP, people must meet one of the following Qualifying Event criteria: Marriage or domestic partnership. No longer incarcerated. Became a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or legal permanent resident.
Gained a dependent due to birth, adoption, placement for adoption, or placement in foster care. Loss of essential health coverage or will lose coverage. Permanent move from out of state.
