Dan Berggren will perform during Inlet’s Sunsets by the Lake Summer Concert Series on Saturday, August 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Arrowhead Park lakefront.
All are welcome to bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy the free concert and spectacular sunset. Rain location is Fern Park Pavilion.
Dan Berggren has been collecting, writing and singing folk music of the Adirondacks for the past 30 years.
A familiar voice at coffeehouses, museums, schools and libraries throughout New York state, Berggren has also sung at festivals in Vermont, Connecticut, Michigan and Kentucky, at concerts in Zimbabwe and Bulgaria, and on a three-week tour of Romania with the group Common Thread.
Dan is professor emeritus of audio and radio studies at the State University of New York College at Fredonia, where he received the President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching in 1992.
