The 5th Annual Kinderwood Golf Classic, the Kinder-wood Preschool’s biggest fundraiser of the year, was held Monday, August 4 at Thendara Golf Club.
The event included a day of golf, a post-play dinner at the Grill Room, a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, a live auction conducted by Tim Foley and the raffle of a 18’ Bennington pontoon boat.
Among the attendees was Kinderwood founder Mirnie Kashiwa.
Tim Pylman of Old Forge was the winner of the 50/50 raffle and immediately took to the microphone to donate his winnings back to Kinderwood. Winners of the pontoon boat were Jim and Linda Rosenbloom of Fourth Lake.
“There was great weather and attendance for the golf tournament, and an incredible turnout for the dinner and auction. We are grateful for the generosity of so many who helped to raise funds in support of scholarships and other resources for our preschool program,” said Diane Heroux, Kinderwood’s head teacher.
