Annual Meeting: Kiwanis elects officers

The Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks held its election of officers at its annual meeting held on Thursday, May 1st.

Elected to serve for the program year beginning October 1, 2014 were: President – Mike Griffin, Treasurer – Jane Slack, and Secretary – Linda Bamberger. Elected as Directors were Dick Olson, Dee Kraft, Tom Smedley, Ray Schoeberlein, Bill Baumann and Past President Jim Connerty.

At a regular meeting held May 1, at Walt’s Diner, The Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks recognized Camry Liddle as its Student of the Month for October.

Camry, a Town of Webb School senior and daughter of Scott and Julie Liddle of Old Forge, was presented  a certificate and a check for $50 in recognition of her achievement.

During the meeting, she presented a brief outline of her activities and future plans.

Central Adirondack Kiwanis is responsible for many youth-oriented programs.
