A Heartbeat at My Feet, a photography exhibit by local photographer Becky Barrett, is currently on display in the Judith Lowenstein Cohen Memorial Wing of the Old Forge Library.

An opening exhibit reception on Friday, January 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. will offer an opportunity for the community to meet and talk with the artist. It is free and open to the public.
While animals and nature were subjects of her early works of photography, she has since branched out to specialize in portrait photography of two- and four-legged creatures.
Her passion for cooking and baking has also inspired an interest in macro and food photography.
Barrett donates much of her time and skill to Herkimer County Humane Society where she takes pet adoption pictures and assists with photo fundraisers.
The exhibit will be on display through Saturday, March 20th.
