Shrinking Violets to perform in Inlet

fragile_coverThe Shrinking Violets will perform during Inlet’s Sunsets by the Lake Summer Concert Series on Saturday, July 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Arrowhead Lakefront.

Bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy the free concert and spectacular sunset. Rain location will be Fern Park Pavilion.

Playing together as Shrinking Violets since 1993, Darryl and Julia Murdock completed their partnership by marrying in 1997.

They have wandered throughout the Northeast, gracing such stages as Night Eagle Café and Coffeehouse in Oxford, NY and Caffe Lena’s in Saratoga Springs.

The duo is classically trained and experienced in performing for many types of audiences.

The concert series is made possible by the Town of Inlet, Eugene Melnyczuk, Dennis and Eileen Michael, The Wine Shop, Craig Wittlin, and the Central Adiron-dack Association.

It is also funded in part by a grant from New York State Council on the Arts.
