The New York Wine and Food Classic, known as “The Oscars” of New York wine was held August 14 to 16 at Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel in Watkins Glen.

Of the 741 entries, Montezuma Winery received a Double Gold for their Dry Riesling and a Gold medal for Fat Frog Red.

Earlier in the month, Montezuma Winery won Best of Class in the Sparkling Fruit Wine category for their Pintail sparkling rhubarb wine at the Indy International Wine Competition._

Held at Purdue University in Indiana, the competition is the largest independent and scientifically organized wine championship in America.

With over a thousand entries from around the globe, these wines are judged by experts from around the world.
